So, you probably know that your mobile phone is roughly 10x dirtier than you average public toilet seat, right? Add to that the nearly 50 times the average American checks their phone every day according to a survey by Deloitte, and you have a recipe for colds, the flu and other nasties. But, what can be done about it?
Well, a lot, it turns out. First, don’t use your phone while in the bathroom and wash your hands thoroughly before using it afterwards. Second, once a week, using a microfiber cloth, gently wipe an water/alcohol mixture (60/40) on the front, back and sides. Never use household spray cleaners as they can damage the screen and camera lens on your phone. Even better, follow your mom’s advice and wash those hands several times a day!
